🍴 Fork Wayne
Got Milk? 🥛
There are tons of places to grab a snack in Fort Wayne, but few let you enjoy your food while watching cows lounge. That’s part of the charm at Kuehnert Dairy Farm, a fifth-generation operation that has turned its family history into one of the city’s best spots for local flavor.

Kuehnert Milk House
On my most recent visit with a friend, I stocked up on some fiery habanero cheese curds, a pint each of strawberry and coffee milk, a half gallon of birthday cake ice cream, and even a zip-up hoodie (because why not rep some local dairy?). The curds deliver a spicy kick without being overwhelming, and the coffee milk? Think bottled Starbucks Frappuccino… if it were actually good.

Adorable cow merch!
Udder Upp Café
Of course while visiting we couldn’t resist grabbing some grub at their Udder Upp Café. A scoop of banana split ice cream hit that sweet spot of nostalgic and refreshing, with chunks of cherry, pineapple, and chocolate mixed in. We split a hot honey fusion pizza topped with Kuehnert’s signature curds, where the balance of heat and sweet made it one of the better hot honey pies I’ve tried. 🍕

What stands out most, though, is the care behind everything. The clean, modern spaces, cows contently munching away, and a farm family clearly proud of their work. Kuehnert isn’t just selling dairy; they’re curating an experience that makes you want to come back again (and again).
Takeaway: From curds to ice cream, every bite here is a reminder that some of Fort Wayne’s greatest flavors are made right here at home. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re missing one of the tastiest and most welcoming gems in the Fort!
That’s the scoop. 🍦
